Max's 2nd Birthday
If you have young children, you're sure to recognize these famous characters. They are Muno and Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba.
Which one would you choose?
Today was Max's 2nd birthday party. Pauline and I found an awesome cupcake stand online and covered it in fun paper and ribbon. Once the cupcakes were all on, it looked SO cute!

Girly Girl Cupcakes
Getting Started...
I have to admit, I'm not much of a gator fan, but I think these turned out pretty cute! I made these for my friend Denise, who wanted to surprise her gator fan husband on his birthday!
I helped my friend Pauline create these really fun cupcakes for a kid's birthday party. The red and white wrappers that go around the bottom were purchased online, then we cut up LOTS of white and yellow marshmallows to make the "popcorn" look.
Recognize this guy? These were some of the first cupcakes I did last year when deciding to do the whole cupcake thing... my boss was my first guinea pig!! The Mickey head was a little more challenging than I thought. Gotta start somewhere.

Am I Really Doing This?
Here I am. Joining the ranks of all the crazy bloggers out there. I never thought I'd find myself doing this. I'm keeping true to my promise to myself to not join Facebook, but I've let my social-networking friends convince me to start a blog. Who am I? Well, I'm a wife to my husband Will, a pet mother to two crazy dogs, Dixie and Lucy, and a teacher to 30 2nd graders. When I'm not spending time at school, I'm at home scheming up new things to cook and bake. I've decided to try and turn a favorite hobby into a business adventure... I'm creating a cupcake business! Hopefully one day it will turn into something big.
